Ras El Hanout for our Passover roast. Is a Morrocan spice blend we use for special occasions. The best way to describe it is it's a party in your mouth and all the spices are invited 😄. It's also beautiful to look at and smell. It varies every time I make it depending on what I have on hand. Here I used
2tsp cumin
2tsp ginger
2tsp salt
1tsp ground pepper
1tsp ground elderberry
1tsp allspice
1 1/2tsp nutmeg
2tsp turmeric
1tsp ground anise seeds
Mix
Disclaimer: I am not Moroccan so I can not attest to the authenticity of this recipe. It is, however, authentic to my kitchen and it's delicious on lamb and goat.
